  • Under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), WHEA is required to inform parents and guardians of their right to request information regarding the professional qualifications of their children’s teachers and any paraprofessionals who provide services to their child.

  • The Notice of Non‑Discrimination and Anti‑Harassment affirms that WHEA (under HIDOE policy) prohibits discrimination, harassment, intimidation, and bullying across all protected categories, promotes equal opportunity, and outlines clear procedures for reporting and addressing concerns to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
