SUCCESSION PLANNING (REQUEST FOR COMMENTS)
As we plan for the future the WHEA Governing Board has established a succession planning committee whose mission is: To recommend to the Governing Board a leadership structure/organization aligned with the WHEA mission, vision, and beliefs and be feasible within budget constraints; establish key leadership positions with brief job descriptions and ensure organizational continuity.
The Succession Planning Committee (SPC1) has started by looking at the leadership structure and has identified 3 main possibilities:
1) A single Director (as we currently have)
2) Co Directors
3) A Director with an Assistant (the exact role would be defined as we move forward)
These 3 options could use the current Lead Teacher structure or some other approach. The Committee will be working on this in the future. The Committee is committed to representing all WHEA stakeholders during this process. We encourage you to share your thoughts and ideas by responding to this form - CLICK HERE Please send them to us by November 30th.
