Aloha WHEA Families - As many of you know we have been developing a Return to Learn COVID Metrics and Learning Plan.  At this time it is still under review by our Governing Board.  We hope to have it ready early next week.

I would also like to thank the parents that have been attending and participating in our board meetings.  We appreciate your feedback and time.

HIGH SCHOOL LEARNING OPTIONS FOR NEXT SEMESTER

Up until this point, high school curriculum options were a quarter-to-quarter decision that students and their families could make. As we end 1st Semester, we would like to announce that any changes to curriculum options will now be the curriculum you are enrolled in for the rest of the school year (all of 2nd Semester). Program Change Requests for High School will be open from now until January 8th, 9:00 am HST.  If you are switching from the hybrid or integrated distance learning program to the asynchronous distance learning (Standalone) which uses Acellus, students will need to complete 100% of Acellus courses they will be enrolled in. Only integrated courses (ones earned through projects) will be switched to the Acellus platform.  All others will remain the same (Blackboard, etc.).  Program change requests, if granted, will remain in effect for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year.   CLICK HERE to make a request.
